This is a simple service that I have enjoyed for some time. It is a website that contains lists of usernames and passwords for all manner of websites. That way you can just login to see protected content without having to register and give out any personal information. This is a great tool because every website in the world is trying to get your personal information.
Unfortunately this service has been getting too popular for its own good lately. Now these sites look for accounts registered with BugMeNot and then remove them; so most of the logins found on BugMeNot are very lucky if they work.

This weeks link is a neat astronomy tool. I heard this one mentioned in a podcast a few weeks ago. It is all of the fun of looking at the stars without having to go outside and hope that it is a clear night (well, maybe almost as fun). It actually reminds me of the Dayton Natural History Museum (which has since changed its name) I used to visit when I was a kid.

The link for this week is probably the most useful web service I have came across in a long time. For me, I work on so many different computers with many different browsers that I never find value in trying to add bookmarks of websites into the browser because I may never be able to find the bookmark again. I would always email links to myself or write them down on paper, and that in itself was a disorganized mess. I even went as far as to write myself my own little database driven web page that I could add links to.
Needless to say I have been very happy to find a simple, organized and web-based way to manage my bookmarks. And that is what this site is. It is a central location to store a list of web links so that you can access them from anywhere. They also provide some interesting social networking features like seeing how many others bookmarked the same or what links are most popular, etc. But for me those things are secondary to just how individually useful the bookmarking service is.
